In case you’ve missed it, Nix of Nothing will be going on hiatus for a while. I’m currently in a bad financial situation. Nix of Nothing is something I spend a lot of time on, and it doesn’t really make me much money. So, I need to take some time off and figure out better ways to be financially stable. Then, when I figure out something that works, I will return to Nix of Nothing. That’s the plan anyway.

To do this, I’m going to have to experiment with some things that I don’t want to hinge Nix’s future on without testing first.

My first test will be coming very soon. I want to try crowdfunding a shorter, single story graphic novel. If it is funded I will then work on that for the near future until it’s complete. Then, using this information, I would try to crowdfund the continuation of this Nix story arc so that I will be financed properly while making it.

I love making comics and I hope I can continue to provide them for people. Things are bad for everyone right now, but we’ll see what the future holds.

You will hear more about this new graphic novel soon! I’m excited to work on a self contained story, and I hope you’ll join me in trying to make it.
